Sunnyside Studio is a new creative space in Weymouth, Dorset, designed for crafters of all ages to enjoy. Whether you’re 3 or 93, you can pick a project, take a seat, and enjoy up to two hours of relaxed creative time.
Our sessions are affordable at just £5 per crafter (prices correct for 2025). Children under 16 must be accompanied by one adult — the adult place is free if they are supervising only, but adults are also very welcome to book a paid crafter’s place and get creative themselves.

We provide paints, stickers, ribbons and plenty of materials so you can craft in your own way. Seasonal workshops, parties and special events will also be on offer.
If crafting is not for your child we have a small immersive play area, follow us on Facebook for up to date changes to our play boards.
Drinks and snacks are available to buy at very reasonable prices.
Please note, hot drinks are consumed at your own risk in the studio.
Sunnyside Studio is all about giving families, friends and individuals a welcoming place to relax, create, and take something special home.
We have messy tots which run Tuesdays & Thursday (term time only) 09.30 - 11.30 £5 per child.
Stay & Play session which run Mon, Wed and Fri 09.30 -2.30 (term time only)
After school crafting with free squash & Biscuits 4-6pm (term time only and needs to be booked by 2pm) £5
The hang out is available on Friday & Saturday 6-9pm as a great alternative to the pub for ages 7 and up.
Crafting sessions do run along side these but may take place upstairs, depending on what session is being held downstairs.

For children with allergies or sensitivities, we offer a party without balloons and cupcakes. Parents may bring their own treats if preferred. Important Notes:

Minimum of 6 children per party, maximum 20 children.

A £25 non-refundable deposit is required upon booking.

We aim to maintain a nut- and seed-free environment, but cannot fully guarantee it.

Hangout Party for 7–14-Year-Olds

For £7.50 per child , they get 2½ hours in our Friday or Saturday night Hangout area (6–8:30 pm or 6:30–9 pm) .

Kids can choose a craft off the shelf to make , play board games or pool , chill with music , and just hang out . Parents are welcome to bring pizza or snacks to make it a relaxed birthday celebration!
